Each "File" focuses on a single story ranging from a breaking development of national importance to a whimsical human-interest vignette. Some of these Charlie does in rhyme, which is why he is known as CBS's "Poet in Residence". Listen for Harley Carnes homespun commentary every morning around 9:35am during KVAToday or click his picture to visit HarleyCarnes.com & listen to his podcasts!

Be A Guest On KVAToday!
Your Hometown Station is interested in what is going on in your community & with your organization! Many have had the chance to visit the studio weekday mornings during KVAToday to talk about fundraisers, festivals, shows, or whatever else is happening in their neighborhood. Interviews can be done on the phone as well as live, in the studio. Live interviews are always encouraged, however we know how busy schedules can be. Recorded interviews can be arranged, including having your interview recorded "on location". If you would like to schedule an interview, simply download a request form & fax it to us at 717/242-3764 or EMAIL the show to schedule a time to visit. Please remember that topics that relate specifically to the Mifflin/Juniata county area will be considered priority over others.
